Vision

History

The Good Hope journey started in the year 1969. Established as Good Hope Convent by Late. Mrs. Joy Davamoni, Mrs. Grace Durairaj, Mrs. D.A. Juliet and Mr. J.D. Isaac with a mission to transform society by giving quality education to all at nominal cost, the school soon became a beacon of good hope for children and families in the community.

The spark lighted by the visionary founders ignited thousands of young minds and in the year 2018 -19, the School completed 50 glorious years marked by year long celebration and expansion of its reach and scope. The School has produced leaders in the private sector and in civil society organisations in India and abroad. Many past students have excelled in academic, social, sports and cultural fields and have contributed to the growth of our Nation. The alumni of this institution are still in touch with their alma mater and keenly follow its development and achievements.

Today, Good Hope New Gen School under the able leadership of the Correspondent Mr. Banabas Osborn Sundar and Principal Mrs. J. Margaret has grown from strength to strength. Imbibing the saying of the great Rabindranath Tagore: “Don’t limit a child to your own learning, for he was born in another time” a smooth transition was made over the years to bridge the learning gap and reach out to these children ‘born in another time’ Innovations in pedagogy and curriculum are introduced to make learning joyful and meaningful to the offsprings of the New Generation

As we proudly march ahead into the 21st Century and beyond, we salute the vision of the founders and the dedication of successive generation of leaders and teachers who laid the solid foundation of the school 50 years ago.
